A grove of Milkwood trees at the back offers a cool place to shelter from the summer sun. The pan is fed from the mountain runoff and from rain and therefore the water level changes from season to season depending on the past rainfall. The house is a short stroll from the ocean tidal pool and only 10 km away from Hermanus which offers great beaches, mountain walks, markets, and many fine restaurants. The area has many nearby vineyards offering wine tasting. There is also an opportunity to play golf at one of two top golf courses. The area is known as one of the best land based whale watching destinations in the world.Our display rate is the minimum rate per night for four people.
